Odyssey Campaign Services is an AI-enabled campaign execution team. We support campaigns and advocacy organizations with voter and supporter outreach, conversational messaging, fundraising follow-up, content, and mobilization. The Director owns how that work is planned, executed, and reviewed for every engagement.
Responsibilities
- Own the execution model for each engagement: goals, channels, calendar, staffing, approvals, and measurement.
- Translate client goals into defined results and a work plan with clear owners and dates.
- Maintain the human-review standard: nothing is sent to the public or to supporters without authorized approval.
- Oversee compliance practice with the team: consent, disclosures, platform rules, and state and federal requirements. Work with outside counsel where needed; the company provides operational and technology support, not legal advice.
- Lead and develop a team of campaign managers, specialists, and project-based staff.
- Review performance each week and report plainly what worked, what did not, and what changes next.
- Maintain written playbooks for each channel and update them as rules and platforms change.
Qualifications
- Seven or more years in campaign management, political or advocacy operations, nonprofit program management, or related field operations, including leadership of a team.
- Direct experience running multi-channel outreach programs against a fixed calendar.
- Working knowledge of messaging, fundraising, and mobilization practice and of the rules that govern them.
- Excellent written English and sound judgment about confidentiality and public communication.
- Ability to work to hard deadlines in election and campaign cycles.
Preferred
- Experience with AI-assisted communication tools and their oversight.
- Experience with nonprofit, PAC, foundation, or advocacy programs in addition to candidate campaigns.
- Reading or writing in more than one language.
