Conversation is the core of modern outreach: text, email, and AI-assisted phone communication that is personal, accurate, and respects consent. This role designs and runs those programs.

- Design conversation flows for text, email, and AI-assisted phone programs, including opening messages, replies, escalation to a human, and opt-out handling.
- Maintain the approved knowledge base each program draws from, and keep it current and verified.
- Define quality checks: sampling of conversations, accuracy review, tone review, and escalation review.
- Manage sender registration, consent records, and opt-out handling in line with carrier, platform, and legal requirements.
- Analyze response and outcome data and recommend changes to messages and timing.
- Maintain documentation of every program: purpose, audience, approvals, and results.
- Train and supervise team members and project-based staff on the review process.
Qualifications
- Four or more years in marketing communications, customer or constituent engagement, messaging programs, or conversation design.
- Working knowledge of consent and messaging rules (carrier registration, opt-out requirements, platform policies).
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with outcome data.
- Excellent written English and editing judgment.
- Discretion with personal data.
Preferred
- Experience with AI conversation tools and human-review workflows.
- Experience in fundraising, advocacy, or public affairs messaging.
